Your cat may have ingested a poisonous substance, such as antifreeze from a car, or eaten something that has made it ill. It is very important that you take the cat to a vet immediately for a diagnosis. Quick vet care could make the difference in this cat living or dying.

The cat may have hairballs or may have eaten something that did not agree with him. If no hairballs are produced in a day or so, consult a vet.

That means your cat is sick with something and whatever made him sick is making him vomit. Whenever cats vomit they lick their lips to get the vomit off their mouth and because they don't like the taste. I suggest you take your cat to the vet because it is something in his body that's making him vomit.

This sounds like your cat has eaten something bad or even poisonous and is trying to rid himself of it; take him to the vet or at least give him lots of water.

Your cat is licking his lips as a sign that he is nauseated. The vomiting is because of his nausea, too. This could be serious and should be watched carefully.
