This could possibly just be a electrical board malfunction. IF the light is a problem you could remove the dash and take out the Check Engine Light bulb.

Always check the fuel cap and make sure it is fitting tightly as this is a common cause of a lit engine light. You may also have a problem with your fuse box, check all of your fuses. If you are still having a problem get it into a dealership before the repair becomes very costly.

Do yourself a big favor and take your car to a qualified mechanic. You're dealing with a modern foreign engine here with some type of electronic failure. It could be just about anything. You really don't need to be playing a guessing game.

It could be any one of a thousand things that are causing it to happen. The best thing you can do is to go to your garage and have them check it out. They'll be able to tell you whats wrong in a matter of minutes and they'll also be able to tell you how to fix it as well.

The only true way to know is to take your car into a repair shop and ask them to use their electronic scanner to find the problem and see if it something major that will affect performance or if it will not cause any unexpected problems.Could be the evap system.

It could possibly be a misfire but the best way to know is if you take it to Auto Zone they will hook up the computer tester for free and tell you exactly what is wrong. It could just be a gas cap.

The "check engine" light can come on for many different reasons other than the vent solenoid. If it's a 1994 or newer take to an autoparts store such as Autozone or Advanced Autoparts and they will tell you why it's on for free. If it's older than a 1994 you will have to take it to a dealer and pay.

It could be a manfuction in the light. Or you might needed to take it in to get it looked at. It might just need to be looked at, there probably isn't anything wrong.
