Blood is normal in an egg and will not hurt you. Blood can get into the egg while its being formed and it stays there. For aesthetic purposes these eggs are normally found and removed by candling, but they pose no health risk and they are not fertilized.

That is blood. It means that the egg is no good. Throw it away. Red in eggs happens less with store bought eggs since they separate out the bad ones.

When you find red "blood" inside an egg, it indicates that the egg has been fertilized - rooster at work. In a lot of countries, it is not legal to sell fertilized eggs - they don't keep as well as unfertilized eggs. I would eat them if I knew they were quite fresh.
