Why won't my TV stay powered on?

This is hard to answer, without knowing what brand, and how old the TV is. First, check to see if there are any problems with the connection with the power cord. If not, make sure the power outlet you are using is not bad, then go from there.

There can be a number of issues that may be affecting the TV, but one of the most common reasons a TV doesn't stay on is because someone may have inadvertently set the snooze or sleep timer.

It could be unplugged, have broken cabling, in a bad outlet, blown a fuse or sadly, it could just be broken.

one of the main problems could be from the power wire connected to the TV. It may interrupt electricity sometimes due to the fact that the wire is old or/and may have been damaged. I suggest going to the nearest repair shop and let the pro's take a look at it.
