Some women experience it throughout pregnancy and even lose weight from vomiting regularly. Visit a doctor if you can't keep food down for more than 12 hours.

Having nausea in late pregnancy is very common. As the baby grows in the uterus, it expands in the abdominal cavity. This puts more pressure on the stomach and esophagus, causing nausea and stomach discomfort. It's very normal to have a variety of digestive issues, including nausea, all throughout pregnancy, including at the end.

Nausea can be a sign of pre-term labor. Some women also have nausea when they have not eaten enough. Also keep in mind the baby is pushing on your stomach.

It is very common for late onset morning sickness to occur and it often happens close to delivery as well.

Later in pregnancy there is little room in you stomach for much, including food. I had heartburn constantly and it was difficult to sleep because it was so severe. Try eating smaller portions and snacks throughout the day instead of meals and drink a lot of fluids avoiding soda and spicy foods.

This is not too abnormal as your body is still having fluctuations. You may just have a virus, too, or be eating foods that disagree with the baby or hormone levels.
