According to same trainers, the bicycle manuever exercise it the best way to exercise your abs. There have been scientific studies that have determined that out of all of the possible floor exercises, the bicycle maneuver uses the most abdominal muscle fibers. It is important to remember, however, that these exercises will not burn existing fat from the abdominal area.

Yes it will, just make sure to vary the angle of your legs throughout the exercise. At some points during your routine your legs should face a wall and gradually work upwards towards the ceilling.

Yes. In fact, the American Council on Exercise did a study on abdominal exercises, and the bicycle maneuver was the single most effective exercise for targeting your workout on the rectus abdominus (also known as the 'six-pack' muscles). Be sure to talk to your doctor before starting any serious exercise program.

The bicycle maneuver will work those muscles, but not enough to get a good six-pack. To get a good six pack, you need to lose body fat through a solid, controlled diet and intense exercise. Weighted ab exercises are also needed to get some hypertrophy so your abs pop out.

The Transversus Abdominus is an important core muscle. It helps to stabalize your back. The vacuum exercise is one of the best for strengthening the transverse.
