Will it look wrong to put green furniture in a room with green walls?

It won't lood nice if you put green furniture in a room having green walls. If you put some light coloured furniture, it would look nice.

That is going to depend on the shades of green, the textures involved, and the other things in the room. Green abounds in nature in many, many shades so you should be fine. I usually find the biggest mistake is shades of a color that are too close: they clash, looking as if you tried to match them and failed.

The actual color, kelly green vs. sage, say, would determine your success. The room would need to be in the same color family as the furniture or the clash would be visually disturbing. To bring this off, I think you would have to choose a green with either brown or gray in the mix. Quiet green, in other words.
