Most definately, your fat will be turned into muscle will doing strength training. Remember though, Muscle weighs more than fat, so you may not see loss on scales.

Muscles burn more calories even when at rest, so you can lose fat. Higher weights and lower reps will add more muscle bulk compared to lower weight and more reps.

it takes time. the strength training will eventually seek its source of expended energy from the adipose tissue. be patient. try BodyBuilding. com. dont set unrealistic goals. dont weigh yourself but once a week. i am 6-0 and 212. that really makes me obese. i am not. have fun lifting weights

It sure will. The higher weights you use will make your muscles larger. For a leaner look, you would want to do multiple reps with smaller weights. Anytime you gain muscle and exercise, your metabolism will speed up and you will burn more calories, even when you are not exercising.

You need to work on cardio to get fat loss, do your cardio workout first, then follow up with strength training after. It is possible to build muscle over the top of fat but that is not desireable, so use the cardio too.
