Are opossums prone to rabies?

Rabies can be contracted by any mammal. The most common carriers are canines (dogs/coyotes), bats, fox, skunks and raccoons. Opossums appear to be less prone.

no,just like all other animals,they can get rabies but it is a lot harder for opossums to catch the disease.
