There can be brown ones, but you may want to check your flowers just in case as locusts look really similar to grasshoppers and could be eating some of your flowers.

There is a species of grasshopper that is brown. Most grasshoppers range from a light green to a more brown or grey color.

Of course, from brown color to red color, they are of the animal species that have a great range of colors in its bodies. Including some of them with brown color have small black spots.
