The most significant thing to remember is that you must always remove the adults from the nursery tank immediately after spawning in almost all species. If you are not able to, make sure the tank provides plant cover for the babies to hide in. If fish are not breeding, they are stressed and may have too much nitrate.

The female fish is internally fertilized by the male fish. Then the female fish carries the "baby" fish for about a month before she delivers them. The baby fish then swim off and search for food.

In fish breeding, you don't have to force the fishes to breed. You have to purchase at least 6 pieces of breeding fishes and they are the ones who will going to choose who is going to breed with them. If you want more breeders, you have to buy at least 10 pairs

Fish generally breed by creating nests and spawning. The male needs to dig a shallow nest in gravel, then the female will lay eggs that he can fertilize.

Make sure you have a male and female of the same fish. Provide plenty of cover for them and the young.
