Can you use synthetic automatic transmission fluid in a Honda Accord V6?

Yes. However it does need to meet the Honda specification for the year of Honda. Mobil 1 makes a synthetic that will work in all models up to the current generation. There is also an additive sold in most napa stores that can be added to make different brands of fluid compatible.

yes you can use synthetic automatic transmission fluid as long as you drain all of the old fluid out of the transmission

Normally it is not effective in honda engines.Better consulting the original manufacturer for using synthetic automatic transmission.If possible,the whole fluid used for transmission has to be drained out for the new one.

Most modern (2006-ish) vehicles come from the factory with synthetic or "specialty" (read: $50/bottle) transmission fluid. On older models it is fine to use a 50/50 mix with regular ATF.

No, Honda says that you could only use original Honda ATF Z1 transmission fluid. You should ask a permission in writing from the official dealer to use any other type of transmission fluid.
