I'm not sure if you're talking about a certification course like Red Cross, or if you're talking about a college course you took not for credit. Either way, I'd say you should contact the company or the program you took the course with and ask for one.

Write to the school's registrar giving the date of attendance and completion of the course, your social security number, name under which you took the training, and the specific certificate required. It would help to call the school first to see if there is a charge for the completion certificate as most schools charge for certified transcripts.
