First we have to take the plant outside then the plant out of the pot and need not shake off the soil. After that have to put it in the next bigger size then add soil, fertilizer and water as it needs.

The only way to do it is to make sure the new pot is big enough and then when you take it out of the old pot make sure you don't pull on it that will cause stress.

Rubber plants like to be a little crowded in their pots. Spring is an excellent time to repot. Remove your plant and gently shake. Place plant in its new "home" and water slightly. Let soil dry a little between waterings and don't forget the occasional shower.

This plant needs a big area of pot,so if ever you want to repot or place it in another place prefer some big space.Spring time is the best to repot your plant because it offers a very nice weather for the plant.

The first thing you need to do is make sure the new pot you are putting in is big enough then just fill it with soil to cover the root base and and make sure when you water it you don't soak the soil just moisten it and the plant should grow and do well.

To repot a rubber plant, one must first prepare an alternative pot to transplant the plant to. Next one should grasp the plant firmly by the stalk or any other sturdy area, and pull in an upwards motion. Replace the plant into the alternative pot.

The plant is ready to be repotted when it requires water on an almost daily bases. Repot it in a bigger pot. One that is 4 inches deeper and wider than your current pot is recommended. Plant your rubber plant in good quality soil and water well once you have repotted it.
