How do I troubleshoot a problem with my rubber plant?

Check for any browning of the leaves. This may be due to overwatering. Underwatering will cause the leaves to droop. Also, you might wnat to check the PH of your soil, as it may be to acidy or too alkalinic. Plant food with the proper PH can be purchased at any home and garden store.

The rubber plant is pretty carefree, but has two common issues. If your lower leaves are yellowing and dropping, it could be rootbound, this plant has enthusiastic root growth. Another common cause is overwatering, this plant needs to drain, not sit in wet. 1-2" of pebbles will help it drain.

Rubber plants are pretty tough, so there aren't too many possibilities. Are you losing leaves? Are they turning yellow? If so, it may be a matter of watering a little too much or it may be pot bound. Regardless, repot the plant with fertile soil and water less often. See how the plant does for a while.

check climate change and soil ph value for acid level ,overwatering underneath also make problem which is indicated by leaves are left from trees.they need good drainage systems .Shells, stones and pottery can be placed in bottom of container before potting

Depending on the issue, if your leaves are dropping, it probably means the leaves are rootbound. Dropping leaves are probably caused from overwatering and causing root rot. Simply let the plant drain well and not let it sit in water.

Well if your rubber plant has hardened then you know that the plant is lacking water or fertilizer. If it has softened then that means the plant is dead and has no potential to grow.

Take care of the latax vesseles of the rubber plants. If spoiled the latex vesseles their will not be a production of latex present.
