Playrooms are usually bright or primary colors, with lots of storage and room to spread out. Often, they will include a table for puzzles and games, and a soft rug underfoot for playing on the floor. Storage cubicles or shelves are very important to keep things organized. A stage is a great idea if there is room.

Depending on what your children like, i enjoy the idea of bright colors and books. My children love books and we have a large bookshelf in our playroom that the kids helped paint by using their handprints on the sides and inner parts of the shelf. Its always fun to involve the kids.
