Is it appropriate to send a Lunar New Year card?

Which culture would appreciate it?

If you are not a part of a culture that celebrates a Lunar New Year, then I see no need to send one. Cultures that have Lunar New Years include: Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, and Tibetan. Those who follow the Islamic calendar also celebrate a Lunar New Year. Rosh Hashanah is a Lunar New Year celebration as well.

Really the only people who actually celebrate the Lunar New Year are Asians. mostly in China, Vietnam and Korea, and possibly in Japan. Not many other people really celebrate the Lunar New Year.
