My puppy is losing weight and not eating. What can I do?

Any time a puppy stops eating is a good time to see your vet with your pet. This might be due to a number of health issues and in person diagnosis is needed. Parasites, infection, a swallowed non-food item are some of the many possible problems.

As long as your puppy is drinking then you can buy formula for your puppy to drink. This is specifically made for this issue to help them put on weight. If this doesnt work a trip to the vet needs to be made.

Usually when a dog is not eating it's generally sick. Severe stomach problems would cause a dog to not want to eat. Take it to the vet and find out.

I would try changing foods! That may work to get the puppy to eat or sneak some vitamins in the food to get his nutrition! That worked for our dog anyways!
