One of the best ways to get rid of a beer belly is to first stop drinking beer. Diet, as with anything will be very important. Crunches and situps will always help, but running and walking are the best things to start sculpting your core. The best way to lose weight is to burn more calories than what you eat.

You should start by doing a low impact exercise such as walking. After you can walk 4 miles easily at a quick pace, start running 5 times a week.

Stop drinking excessive amounts of beer (and alcohol), and start eating healthier, and living a more healty lifestyle (doing situps and cardio will also help! ).

First step is to stop drinking Beer; cut salt out of your diet and eat more green vegetables. A simple exercise is lay on your back with hands behind your neck; so 1/s sit-ups but while in the 'up' position; hold that for 3-4 seconds and lay back down.
