They must be able to handle multiple children at once, calmly and without yelling. They need to know all safety procedures to be followed around young children.

be able to have lots of fun with the children while also being an authority figure. Need to teach basic skills to children and have lots of patience.

Apart from the academic qualifications a preschool teacher needs several other attributes. He or she should have a love of children, plenty of patience. a good imagination and should not minding getting messy! Being able to deal with wet or dirty pants, sick and runny noses is useful too.
