Jaguars are on the Endangered Species List of the United States. They are classified as endangered in Arizona,Texas, and New Mexico. No jaguars are known to be living in the U.S., but several have been seen wandering in the states mentioned.

Yes they are endangered since march 28 1972. Areas where endanged are Arizona, California, Central and South America, Louisiana, Mexico, New Mexico and Texas.
