Will it affect my breastfeeding if I'm not eating very much?

Usually you should consume more calories to help your body produce the milk. What you take in becomes part of your milk. If you are not taking in enough calories, your milk supply could be reduced, or your body could rob itself of nutrients for the milk. Consult your Doctor if you are experiencing anorexia related to the birth.

Yes. You need to eat to keep your strength up because pumping milk will slightly deplete your vitamins. Also, if you do not take in much food, your body will not produce much milk, and the pain will be greater as the baby tries to extract substance from a dry source.
