The koala is not officially endangered, with perhaps 100,000 living in the wild. The species faced extinction early in the 20th century, but has since rebounded. Habitat destruction remains a concern, however, as much of the population is isolated in individually threatened pockets.

Koalas isn't recognized by the Australian government as endangered but the American government does express they believe the species is threatened. Koala's have a very specific habitat due to their diet of Eucalyptus leaves as long as this habitat remains healthy the Koalas should remain off the endangered list.

Officially koalas are not endangered. They are pretty common animals in many parts of Australia where they actually live. It's great that you wanna help financially but it might be better to support let's say Siberian tiger.
